Two dolphin species

White-beaked dolphins rarely visit the Estuary. A small group of four was observed off Portneuf-sur-mer. Four Atlantic white-sided dolphins were noted in the Rimouski area. But, how does one tell them apart?

This red tide has been present for several days. Although many dead birds, fish and marine mammals have been sighted, a link has not been established between these two events. Field and laboratory work is currently being carried out.
